Winter is Upon Us!!
Welcome to El Dorado Heights
Welcome! El Dorado Heights is located about 10 miles northeast of Helena, Mt near Hauser Lake. It is located in the Big Belt Mountains and is a very picturesque area with abundant wildlife. Most of the lots are 20-40 acres in size with community boat launching and docking facilities on Hauser Lake.
Whether you are already a lot owner, or are looking at purchasing one, El Dorado Heights represents the very best of Montana. We have hunting, fishing, hiking, trail riding opportunities (and more) in Helena National Forest and Hauser Lake. During the summer we like boating, water skiing and floating, and in the winter the ice fishing and snowmobiling is fantastic.
Our neighbors look out for one another and are without a doubt the friendliest people on the planet! El Dorado Heights is a little piece of heaven on earth, and we won't trade it for anything. So, howdy and again, welcome!

YORK FIRE DISTRICT NEWS
Thanks to all of the community volunteers AND Fire Fighters for all that they do to keep us and our community safe.
​
In 2019-20 the York Fire Department raised enough funds to build our new fire house located right outside of the Eldorado Heights area on Nelson Road. The Eldorado Heights neighborhood is now more likely to be even safer with quicker response times possible and new equipment purchased for the Fire District.
Eldorado Heights Residents get a double benefit.
Remember that YORK IS ALSO YOUR COMMUNITY - not just Eldorado Heights!

YORK FIRE DISTRICT AND COMMUNITY CENTER SERVES a large area. We are always looking for NEW VOLUNTEERS as well.
